Linda Smith

Linda Smith, a native of southern New England, has been a resident of Slidell since 1972. She and her husband, Michael, have three grown children who all reside in the community. Her interest in photography began years ago when she sought a way to capture the scenes of family and landscape while traveling on vacation. She has been a member of the Slidell Photography Club for several years and regularly takes part in local exhibitions that are a part of club activity.

Linda works as a lab supervisor in New Orleans and regularly vacations in the western United States where she actively pursues her interest in photography. She has studied with various professional photographers who have enhanced her talent in portrait photography as well. She particularly enjoys the practice of hand coloring black and white prints.
